With over a decade of clinical experience in physiotherapy, Cherie’s journey began at the University of Sydney, where she graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy in 2013. Since then, she has spent her career honing her clinical skills across both private practice and aged care sectors.
Cherie’s professional path took a meaningful turn when she decided to bridge the gap between human and animal health, retraining as an animal physiotherapist. This transition allowed her to combine her clinical expertise with a lifelong love for animals. She finds a unique fulfillment in working with those who need a gentler touch, specialising in the care of elderly patients and senior dogs; although she still loves all her orthopaedic and junior patients just as much!
Outside of the clinic, Cherie’s heart belongs to the “speed-noodles.” She is a dedicated advocate for greyhound rescue and the ban of greyhound racing. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Cherie also enjoys snow sports such as skiing and snowboarding, she is a lover of live music, enjoys cooking, bouldering and science fiction.
Whether she’s helping a person regain their mobility, helping a senior pup navigate their golden years, or supporting a furry friend post-op to full recovery, she is driven by a passion for movement, comfort, and quality of life for all creatures, great and small.
