Darcy is a qualified and experienced veterinary physiotherapist with over nine years of clinical practice across both human and animal rehabilitation. He has a strong professional background working with performance animals.
Darcy has a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, gait dysfunction and performance optimisation. His approach combines evidence-based assessment with hands-on treatment and tailored exercise programs to support optimal recovery and long-term soundness.
He is trained in and utilises a range of physiotherapy techniques including manual therapy, dry needling, therapeutic laser and progressive exercise rehabilitation. Darcy places a strong emphasis on understanding the biomechanics of each individual animal, working closely with owners, veterinarians and trainers to ensure an integrated and practical treatment plan.
Darcy is passionate about helping dogs return comfortably to daily life — whether that’s post-orthopaedic surgery, managing age-related conditions such as osteoarthritis, or improving movement quality and function. He values clear communication with owners and aims to empower them with the knowledge and tools needed to support their dog’s recovery at home.
Outside of work, Darcy is a devoted dog owner himself and shares his life with Coco, his 4 year old chocolate Labrador, who keeps him active, grounded and constantly learning more about canine movement, behaviour and wellbeing.
Darcy will be consulting in Geelong on Fridays and Saturdays, providing professional physiotherapy services for dogs in the region.
