Melbourne Animal Physiotherapy (MAP) is seeking a passionate and motivated Animal Physiotherapist to join our growing team.
MAP is one of Australia’s leading animal rehabilitation clinics, with purpose-built facilities in Kensington and Geelong. Our clinics feature underwater treadmills, laser therapy, and advanced rehabilitation equipment, allowing us to provide exceptional physiotherapy and hydrotherapy care to dogs and other small animals.
We work closely with veterinarians and specialists to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation for orthopaedic, neurological, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

About the Role
As an Animal Physiotherapist at MAP, you will be responsible for:
• Assessing and treating canine rehabilitation cases
• Developing individualised physiotherapy and exercise programs
• Providing hydrotherapy and rehabilitation sessions
• Educating pet owners on home exercise programs
• Working collaboratively with veterinarians and the MAP therapy team
• Maintaining high standards of clinical documentation
You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of cases including:
• Post-surgical orthopaedic rehabilitation
• Cruciate ligament injuries
• Neurological conditions
• Chronic musculoskeletal pain
• Weight management and conditioning programs
Who We Are Looking For
We welcome applications from:
• Qualified Animal Physiotherapists, or
• Human Physiotherapists with a strong interest in animal rehabilitation
If you are a human physiotherapist who loves animals and is interested in transitioning into animal physiotherapy, training and mentorship can be provided to support your development in this field.
